This is DELICIOUS! I love this stuff, can never get enough. It's also known as Banana Lumpia.
Ingredients
ripe bananas, peeled and cut into half, lengthwise
brown sugar
3 cups cooking oil
lumpia wrappers
1/2 cup langka preserves (optional)
Directions
Roll banana in sugar. Wrap banana (and langka if you have) in lumpia wrapper just like you would a lumpia. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Recipe from Manong Ken

Trying to find my own slice of happiness in a world so full of confusion. The focus is no longer on food but life as we know it and trying to find some ME time in a busy life!

I know. I haven't had it in forever! I'm dying for some but my last attempts at making lumpia didn't go so well!

No, it's not the same thing. It's just like traditional lumpia, but this time with brown sugar and banana inside.
It's YUMMY! If you get a chance try it sometime! I miss having good Asian markets available to me.
