A late Christmas gift to myself
I decided to buy a handmixer, since there is no way I can afford a KitchenAid mixer. I went onto eBay and found one for a good deal, a Black & Decker hand mixer. It looks like an older version but it is brand-new in the box. Having gone through three wire whisks in this last year, I think it was time to do something about it. Hopefully it will work decent enough.
I'm very happy and cannot wait to use it.

Oh, I hope it works good for you. I had a hand mixer for years with the spatula attachment and it worked awesome. I still have it but seldom use it. It'll be nice with all the baking you do.
Can't wait to see what you create with this!
Siuan, we used to have one when I was younger...my mom had one and I don't think I ever handwhisked until I was older and didn't have one of my own! LOL! Now that I am becoming arthritic (ain't that a joy?? hrmmm) I can't handle whisking like I used to- ESPECIALLY during the colder months.

I have a kitchenAid. LOL But I don't use it often. I more often than not grab my handmixer. ;)
